My Little Valentines'

The kids all had fun celebrating Valentine's Day this year. Jacob, Colton and Clara all got to take Valentine cards to school and have little parties in their classes.

Clara was of course very excited about all the treats from her little friends.

Here she is getting very silly from all the sugar.

We did a little heart in her hair. It turned out pretty cute.

She made this cute little Valentine at preschool. Her teacher has the cutest ideas.

I got to go and help out with Colton's class party. He was so excited to have me there. He kept hugging and kissing me. Here he is decorating his cookie.

And here he is with his friend Dakota. They got a bit carried away. That is frosting on their noses. After I snapped this picture, all the kids started smearing frosting on their faces and wanting me to take their picture. I thought o crap his teacher will never let me come back. But she got out her phone and started taking pictures. She is the nicest teacher.

Jacob got to make his valentine's box at home this year. He wanted to make a monster thats mouth opened up to eat the valentines. This is what we came up with. He was pretty proud. He said his was the biggest box in the class.
On Valentines morning we left cards and little gifts for the kids to find. Then we had a Valentine's breakfast of Belgian waffles topped with cinnamon apples, whip cream and a cherry on the top. Yummy! The rest of the day we just kicked back and layed around the house in our pajamas.
That night was Rocky and my turn to enjoy Valentine's. So we dropped the kids off at Grandma's and went out for a nice dinner and some alone time.
We had a great time on this super sweet holiday. Hope you all had fun celebrating with your Valentines'.
