I LOVE Colton's Teacher

Last night was parent teacher conference for Jacob and Colton. Both their teachers report that they are doing great. I am just so impressed with Colton's teacher. Colton is kind of my naughty child. When he started kindergarten I was sure he would be kicked out. Well I guess its true when they say kids are better for other people. He made it through kindergarten just fine. Except for towards the end of the year I got this note.

Yes, that does say he sat on another child and smacked his rear. We're such bad parents because we just laughed our heads off. Other than that he had no major incidence. But this year he has the nicest teacher, Ms. Yerkes. She truly loves the kids in her class. Colton is always telling me the nice things she tells them like " when they put the classes together at the beginning of the year they gave me all the best kids." Whenever I see her she tells me what a funny and cute kid Colton is. Last time I was in her class she was showing me pictures she took of him being silly. And when I went in for parent teacher conference last night the first thing she said was " I've noticed a big improvement in Colton's behavior." then she added "not that he was ever bad." She just can't say anything negative. And you can tell she is soo genuine. She then imitated the way he walks goofy up to the front of the room when it's his turn to lead something. She also said she had the Christmas card he wrote her hanging on her fridge because it was so darn cute. Anyways, I could go on and on. I am just so happy he has a teacher who gets him. We know he's a great kid and we love his personality most of the time. He can be a real challenge though. His teacher is so awesome with him.
