Tonight was our ward Christmas party. My kids were very excited to see Santa. Especially Levi (hee hee). I was really surprised that Clara wanted to sit on his lap. I'm sure the candy cane helped. Jacob and Colton have both started in with the Santa isn't real thing this year. I think they're just trying to get a reaction out of people. I let them know that Santa only comes to those who believe. Jacob said he could tell Santa was real tonight because he could see the roots in his beard. Jacob asked for a skateboard, Colton asked for a skateboard and surprises, and Clara asked for the big blue present that was on the stage.

Love how Claira wanted the Big blue present on the stage. Heck there wasn't anything else around to ask for. Karson was soooo excited to sit on Santas lap at our ward party. But he was pretty sad when we got home, because Santa didn't give him a big green race car. He hasn't quite gotten the concept that you get the presents on Christmas... not when you ask Santa.
Claira sounds like a smart girl. I'd probably ask for the same thing. Something I could take home now. Santa came to Brooklyns kindergarten class today. He was speaking in spanish. I wondered if she would ask a lot of questions, but she just sat starry eyed and watched him the whole time.
