Its What Fun Is

Each summer we go to Lagoon. This year we pushed it off until the last weekend before school started. We had a tone of fun. The weather was cooler than usual which made it nice. It was fairly crowded though. This was Clara's first time at Lagoon. She was so fun to watch. She was a very brave girl. She went on some rides that I felt bad putting her on, like Tidal Wave, but she loved them. You could hear her saying "wooo" in a very soft little voice. I think she had the funnest on Rattle Snake Rapids. She loved getting wet. She kept saying "I got slobbered all over." She really liked the Lady Bug Bop. She is after all a bug lover. Jacob and Colton also had a blast. Colton was a little more timid than I thought he would be. He refused to go on Tidal Wave. He hates it! He went on the White Roller Coaster and did not love that either. He liked The Bat, Rattle Snake Rapids, and the smaller rides. Rocky was hoping Jacob would be ready for some of the more intense rides this year but he was unable to talk him into going on Colossus or Wicked with him. Jacobs favorites were The White Roller Coaster and Rattle Snake Rapids. It was such a fun day. We were there from about 11am to 8 pm. It was the first time in a long time that we just went out for a day of fun. Levi stayed with Grandma Marsha. It was the first time I left him for more than a few hours. Pathetic I know. He did great though. It was good for me to see that a can cut loose from him for a day. This was a great way to end summer break.
