For Jacob's 8th birthday he wanted to hike up to Timpanogas cave. Grandma and Grandpa Brunson came out from Vernal and brought cousin Luke who was visiting them from Texas. Rocky and my parents took Jacob, Colton and some of the cousins up for the hike. I was a bit nervous about the weather because a storm was moving in and the wind was blowing pretty hard in Lehi. But the weather up there was beautiful. All the kids did well on the hike. They thought the cave was pretty cool. Jacob was busy taking pictures and hit his head pretty hard on one of the stalagmites. But other than that, everyone had a great time. After the hike everyone met back at our house for dinner and cake and ice cream. It was a pretty fun day. It's nice to get together with family. I just can't believe Jacob is already 8. He gets baptized next month!
